Materials needed:
1 oz. Red Heart Super Saver worsted weight yarn in Cherry Red
Scrap of Red Heart Super Saver worsted weight yarn in White
Size H crochet hook
Size: 4" in diameter
Gauge: 2 rnds dc=1"
Rnd 1: With red, start with magic ring, ch 3, 11 dc in ring, join w sl st in top of beg ch 3 (12 dc).
Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc in same dc, 2 dc in next dc and in each dc around, join as before (24 dc).
Rnd 3: Ch 3, dc in same dc, 2 dc in next dc and in each dc around, join as before (48 dc).
Rnd 4: (Work this rnd in back loops only), ch 3, dc in next dc and in each dc around, join as before (48 dc).
Rnds 5-6: (Working in both loops again now and throughout pattern), ch 3, dc in next dc and in each dc around, join as before (48 dc).
Rnd 7: Ch 1, sc in same dc, sk next dc, *3 dc in next dc, sk next dc, sc in next dc, sk next dc, rep from * around, joining w sl st in 1st sc, fo (12 sc, 12 "shells").
Weave in ends. Tie a short length of white yarn in bow and glue to front of basket as shown, between Rnds 6 and 7. Trim ends of bow even.
